WITH A NEW EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF!

Amman, April 2022 – The laid-back authentic Greek dining space Paros Garden is reopening its doors at Amman Marriott Hotel and bringing the Greek dining destination back on a delicious gastronomical journey in beautiful surroundings.

Named after the picturesque Greek island, famous for its wonderful white-washed buildings, lively atmosphere and as a center of both culture and taste Paros Garden is the best Greek restaurant and lounge in Amman, presenting a modern take on a traditional setting in an open air terrace surrounded by the pink bougainvillea trees swaying gently in the breeze.

Amman Marriott Hotel has also appointed a new Greek Executive Sous Chef , welcoming Angelos Athanasiou with his 20 years of culinary experience. Chef Angelos is a graduate of the LE MONDE Institute of Hotel and Tourism Studies in Moschato, Greece. Chef angelos and his team are set to  launch the opening of “Paros Garden” in the first week of May as the new summer season kicks off and to host the guests during Eid Al Fitr. He introduces a new menu to the guests and make their dining experience truly enjoyable as one of the first authentic Greek restaurants in Amman.
  
Chef Angelos received his unique experience from some of the best chefs and locations in the world. As he worked in different countries, including Greece, KSA, Egypt, Bulgaria and Italy, he also has extensive pre-opening experience in many restaurants.  As Chef Angelos himself admits, travelling has influenced his culinary skills in a substantial way, allowing him to create flavor combinations that impart original and unique qualities to dishes, especially those of the Greek and Italian cuisines. 

Chef Angelos says of his appointment; “My passion for cooking comes from my childhood. Long story short – I just love to cook.” He continued: “I believe that Greek cuisine deserves its own high position in the world’s gastronomy. Our cuisine is as pure and refined as our spirit, not unlike our philosophy or theatre. I am determined to share my love and knowledge of it throughout the places I visit. I am happy that I will bring my fresh approach to the menus of the hotel especially for the popular Greek restaurant, Paros, and the Italian restaurant Il Terrazzo.”
